What is Vecuronium bromide?
Vecuronium Bromide is an anon-steroidal muscle relaxant and a neuromuscular blocking agent developed by American pharmaceutical company Organon( now AkzoNobel) in 1984. Vecuronium bromide API substantially reversibly blocks the depolarization of muscles by acetylcholine, leading to muscle relaxation.
it is a quaternary ammonium emulsion. the chemical name is 1-(( 2β, 3α, 5α, 16β, 17β)- 17-(( 1- oxobutyl) oxy)- 2-( 4- morpholinyl) androstan-3-yl)-1-methylpiperidinium bromide. Its molecular formula is C34H57BrN2O4, the molecular weight is 637.73 g/ spook and the CAS number is 50700-72-6. it's a white or out-white crystalline powder. Odorless, bitter taste, humidity- converting. It's veritably answerable in ethanol, slightly answerable in water, and nearly undoable in ether. It's veritably answerable in dilute hydrochloric acid.
